Dadeland Mall Tree Lighting Ceremony

Santa and the Dadeland Mall crew kick off the holidays with a splendid Christmas tree lighting ceremony. In addition to the tree lighting, visitors can expect numerous family-friendly activities, crafts, face-painting, snacks, live music, and a letter-making station with a direct feed to the North Pole.
Festival of the Trees

The opening gala for FotT will allow guests to bid on truly amazing holiday decorations (and Christmas tree displays). Funds raised will benefit the Florida International University Interior Architecture Dept.
Brunch with the Kringles

Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus—plus their gang of elves—at GC Railroad Museum before Thanksgiving. Guests will receive a pancake breakfast, refreshments, and opportunities to snap some photos with Old Saint Nick.
Bayfront Holiday Village

A winter wonderland, minus the snow, emerges in Downtown Miami once Thanksgiving ends. Bayfront Park's 30-day pop-up marketplace opens, offering shoppers and guests a festive place to shop. The Rink, Miami's version of ice-skating, will also be open to the public, as will Santa's Photoshop, the North Pole Beach Club, and Bayskate. Don't forget to snap pictures of the gorgeous 50-foot-tall Christmas tree in the middle of the park!

Children and families can make Christmas Cards for their loved ones. Limited seating, and there's no registration required, so arrive early.
In addition to HO HO HO Crafts, the Miramar Library will also be hosting Hanukkah DIY Crafts between 3:00 and 4:00 PM, as well as a Kwanzaa Storytelling and Crafts event on December 28th at 2:00 PM.
