Using both audible and visual warnings — a series of lights and beeps — Safe Exit Assist (SEA) overrides your attempt to deactivate the Electronic Child Safety Lock. Once the road has cleared, a simple push of a button unlocks the door and your son exits safely.
Later, you arrive at the crowded parking lot of a local attraction. Your daughter has her eye on the gift shop and her hand on the door handle when another vehicle pulls into the spot to your right. Detecting the oncoming vehicle, Safe Exit Assist uses existing blind-spot radar sensors to keep your daughter locked safely inside until the other vehicle is parked.
