By the time you’re reading this, Hyundai will have just unveiled the new 2026 Hyundai Palisade, and for the first time ever, the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid at the 2025 New York International Auto Show. The 2024 Hyundai Palisade was one of their best-selling vehicles, and the 2025 variant had its moment in the spotlight as well. But for 2026, Hyundai promises more from this 3-row SUV that will excite drivers, young and old, making it an attractive option when shopping for a new Hyundai vehicle in Miami.
Under the Hood
The 2026 Palisade features a standard 3.5L, 6-cylinder engine that pumps out 287 horsepower with 260 pound-ft. of torque and an eight-speed automatic. The 2026 Palisade Hybrid comes with a 2.5L, 4-cylinder engine that syncs up with dual electric motors to create 329 horsepower and 339 pound-ft. of torque with a six-speed automatic. You’ll have a choice of either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive; the all-wheel drive option will give you better handling if you decide to go off-road.
The Palisade Hybrid can tow up to 4,000 lbs., and the V-6 Palisade can tow up to 5,000 lbs. The 2026 model is shaping up to be incredibly powerful and capable.
2026 Hyundai Palisade Trims in South Florida
Currently, only three trim levels have been announced for the U.S. market:
- XRT Pro
- Limited
- Calligraphy
What we currently know is that the XRT Pro trim will raise the entire vehicle by 1 inch and come exclusively in an all-wheel drive configuration. It will also feature an electronic rear limited slip differential, and drivers will have access to several drive modes tuned to certain terrains. More trims are expected to hit the U.S. market, but we can neither confirm nor deny that speculation at this time.
2026 Hyundai Palisade Exterior
Compared to the 2025 Palisade, the new variant is a bit larger and longer. They’ve extended the wheelbase a bit over 2”, and the overall length is extended by 2.5”. Not a massive expansion, but every little bit helps.
Depending on the trim, the Palisade you choose will come with either 18” or 21” wheels. We expect larger wheels will be an available choice on entry models.
2026 Hyundai Palisade Interior & Features
The driver information gauges and infotainment system come as a dual 12.3” touchscreen unit that looks like one continuous touchscreen. The sleek cabin benefits from the added length and dimensions, giving up to eight passengers plenty of space to lounge. If you don’t need the full eight seats, you can opt for captain’s chairs in the second row, dropping the max passenger count to seven.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility come standard, so you can enjoy your music, audiobooks, or podcasts on your own time. You’ll also have access to a wireless charging pad and three USB-C charging ports. Built-in navigation isn’t standard but is available for those who want a convenient upgrade.
2026 Hyundai Palisade Release Date
Hyundai has said the 2026 Palisade gas-fueled model will hit American markets in the summer, with the hybrid version following closely behind in the fall. The price hasn’t been announced yet, but somewhere in the ballpark of $50,000 is a safe bet, with more luxurious trims upping the price incrementally.
